Can my partner see all my money?

Only what you put in shared wallets. A wallet you make private is visible only to you, transactions included. If you move money from a private wallet to a shared one, only the category shows. See Wallets.

Why can it not connect to my bank?

On purpose. Banks do not see cash, and connecting an account means handing us bank access. Notes you write yourselves are more honest than a partial bank statement. Too lazy to type? Scan the receipt.

What if my partner is not keen yet?

Start alone. Every feature works for one person. The invite can be sent any time, and sent again. Tips in Invite your partner.

What shows on my partner’s lock screen?

Only “{Your name} logged a new transaction”. No amount, no category. The number appears once they open the app.

Can three or more people use it?

Yes. A space can have more than two members, for example a grown-up child or someone who helps run the household. Each person is invited by email.

Is the data safe?

We only promise what already works: no bank account access, amounts never on the lock screen, private wallets stay private. The details, including your right to have your data deleted, are in Privacy.

What will it cost?

The core is free. The extras come with a pass, one per space, covering everyone in it. Outside Indonesia, a pass is US$3.99 for 1 month or US$34.99 for 12 months, plus tax. In Indonesia, it is Rp29,000 for 1 month or Rp249,000 for 12 months. Details in Paid plan.

Is there an app to download?

Not yet, and you don’t need one. NotoArta runs in your phone’s browser and can be added to the home screen like any app. Play Store and App Store versions are coming.
