Money notes for two
One shared money picture for the two of you. What you share, you both see. What's yours stays private. Nobody has to guess.
Free to start. Sign in with your email, no password.

Sarah logged a new transaction
Before building it, we asked 300 people about money and marriage. 188 asked to try it first.
Sound familiar?
Three weeks after payday, the balance is lower than you thought. And the same question comes up again: what was that for?
Usually one of you keeps track. In a spreadsheet, a notes app, your head. The other one doesn't see it.
It's not distrust. You're just tired of guessing.
NotoArta won't teach you how to manage money. You already do that every day. It's just the notebook, one you can both open.
How it works
Give it a name, like Our Home, and pick your currency. Then set the month to start on payday, so the numbers follow your life, not the calendar.

Mention it first, in your own words. Then send the link. They sign in and see the same shared picture you do.

Type the amount, add "coffee", save. Done. Your partner sees it without asking, and you don't have to explain.

Ten seconds to log a coffee isn't a chore. It's a small, daily way of saying: we're in this together.
No account to connect, no bank access to hand over. Your notes hold only what you two wrote. Can't be bothered to type? Snap the receipt, and it fills itself in for you to check.

What we protect
All that shows is "Sarah logged a new transaction". The number appears only inside the app. Phones light up on dinner tables. We know.
Pocket money, your own savings, money you send family. Make a wallet private and only you can see it. Full stop.
A budget running low just lets you know. Nothing gets blocked, nobody gets told off. We keep notes. We don't judge.
So you both know, and you both keep your own space.
Look inside
Captured from the app, using our sample household, Sam and Alex.

Small things that matter
Shared wallets for rent and groceries, private wallets for the rest. Moving money between them is recorded on both sides.
Set your month to start when the salary lands, not on the 1st, so the lean last week still makes sense.
Rent, utilities, streaming. A reminder before the due date, not after.
Can't be bothered to type? Photograph the receipt and the fields fill in. You check and save.
Spending by category, by wallet, by month. Looked at together, not reported to someone.
Run your space in US, Singapore, or Australian dollars, or Indonesian rupiah. The paid plan adds wallets in other currencies, and gold.
Salary and Bonus are separate income categories from day one, so a one-off payout stands out from the monthly picture.
Donations & Charity has its own category too, not lost under "Other".

Passes don't renew on their own. When yours ends, nothing is deleted: your records stay and your space keeps working. Only the extras pause until you buy another pass.
In Indonesia, a pass is Rp29,000 for 1 month or Rp249,000 for 12 months.
Where it started
We started in Indonesia. Before building NotoArta, we asked 300 people there about money and marriage. 188 asked to try it first. 74% said unexpected expenses start the most fights. 2 in 3 still keep track by hand: a notebook, their phone, a chat thread. And 1 in 2 manage the household money alone.
Our own survey, 2026. Individual respondents, not couples.
My day job is in fintech, so I see it up close. Nobody needs another expense tracker. There are hundreds, and they're all built for one person. But household money is a two-person thing. What starts the fight isn't the spending. It's the question. I built NotoArta so nobody has to ask it.
Questions
Most are built for one person, with sharing added later. NotoArta is built for two: one shared space, every entry shows who logged it, and each wallet is either shared or private. It's not a shared spreadsheet. It was made for couples from day one.
No. They see only the wallets you share. A private wallet is yours alone: if you move money from it into a shared wallet, they see the category, not what's inside. And amounts never show on the lock screen.
That's normal: 1 in 4 people we asked said the same. That's why the invite isn't just a link. Mention it first, in your own words, then send it. You can also start alone. The space will wait until they're ready.
On purpose. Banks don't see cash, and connecting an account means handing over bank access. What matters in shared notes isn't capturing every cent. It's that you both wrote them. Too busy to type? Snap the receipt.
Only what you type yourselves: your email, a display name, and your notes. No bank access. Amounts never appear in lock-screen notifications. The privacy page has the details, including the services we use.
Nothing to start, and the core stays free. The extras come with a pass, priced per space, so one pass covers everyone in it. Outside Indonesia, a pass is US$3.99 for 1 month or US$34.99 for 12 months, plus tax. In Indonesia, it's Rp29,000 for 1 month or Rp249,000 for 12 months. Passes don't renew on their own. When yours ends, nothing is deleted: your records stay and your space keeps working. For the first 100 new spaces, the first month of paid features is on us. The partner you invite gets it too. After the month, the space goes back to the free plan and every record stays.
Yes. The app opens in English unless your phone is set to Indonesian, your space can run in US, Singapore, or Australian dollars or in rupiah, and a pass is US$3.99 for 1 month or US$34.99 for 12 months, plus tax. The core is free everywhere. One thing to know: for now, the sign-in email and the backup invite email are written in Bahasa Indonesia. From the sign-in email, you only need the six-digit code.
Not yet, and you don't need one. NotoArta runs in your phone's browser and installs to your home screen like any app. The guide shows how. Play Store and App Store versions are coming.
Yes. NotoArta runs in the browser, so any phone can join the same space.
Not ready to invite your partner? Start on your own. The space will wait.
